GERMAN WWII SOLDIER’S HOUSEWIFE POUCH.

The small canvas pouch, stamped to the exterior ‘Kameradenhilf’. At present pouch containing one card of grey wool, possibly for sock darning and a small packet of darning needles. Male/female closure button all intact. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
