GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PARACHUTE PACKING CARD.

A rare small item, this is the Fallschirm-Ausweis a double linen card folded, being the packing record of Parachute No. 6172054 with its rare checking card for the RZ20 parachute. The lettering to the outside face of the linen card and to the inside is faint. A rare pair of documents to do with the Luftwaffe parachutes. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
