GERMAN WWII G43 BROWN PEBBLED LEATHER AMMUNITION POUCH.

An extremely rare pouch being the brown pebbled leather example of the G43 pouch. Some creasing to the leather flaps on both sections, the loops on the reverse side is intact. One what might appear to be a rodent gnaw to the lower part of one of the belt loops. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
