GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE TROPICAL TUNIC.

An absolutely mint condition very large size tropical tunic for a Kriegsmarine Fregattenkapitan. Standard Kriegsmarine olive drab colour material, maker’s mark to the interior with size stamp, bright gilt anchor buttons, clip-on officers gilt eagle and swastika breast eagle. The Fregattenkapitan shoulder straps are the style that are held by a button and then slipped underneath the shoulder of the tunic so that they can be removed for cleaning. The shoulder boards themselves are the twisted subdued grey on very dark blue underlay, one rank pip. Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon to the upper buttonhole. Five loops for a medal ribbon bar. Loops to the upper right breast for three further awards.
