FRENCH WWI PERISCOPE.

A 75cm long grey painted trench periscope, the optics are good and clear, manufacturer marked ‘Societe De-Optique Berthiot, Paris’ with issue number ‘2792’. Still with its complete but slightly damaged canvas carrying case. The canvas case has leather fittings including what was a leather carrying handle that has now disappeared. The central section of the canvas carrying bag is split, as can be seen on our web images. A nice First War French trench item.
