A good maker marked flight bar for bomber crew in gold, slightly toned gilt to the wreath and to one side of the wings, the left hand set of laurel leaf wings are also dull but at least with a good degree of gilt remaining in the lower recesses. Good gilt remaining to the highlighted swastika below the diving bomb. Maker marked in raised relief ‘R S & S’ on the reverse side, complete with its wide tapering pin and hook.
