AUSTRIAN WWI MARINE TROOPS FIELD BELT.

A scarce item of Austrian field equipment being the officers field belt worn by Marine land base troops of the Austrian Empire during WWI. A standard brown leather Austrian belt with clear manufacturer’s marks and logos to the rear with the rare two-piece high quality bronze naval infantry buckle to the front being the crown banker with scrolls either side and the oak leaf and laurel leaf surround. These belt are manufactured as one unit and therefore cannot be changed as with other German/Austrian buckles. The leather remains good and clear. Some of the original grey felt lining cloth is present however much has disappeared with time.
