GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE BELT AND BUCKLE.

A very hard to find combination of the aluminium one-piece stamped buckle for the Kriegsmarine. Marked 'R S & S' on the reverse side. Wear to the breast of the eagle and approximately 50% of the original gilt left on the exterior. Virtually all of the gilt to the interior is still in place. Complete with its leather tab, which is '1938' dated and maker marked with a very deep Marine acceptance stamp into the leather. The belt is 102cms long and is totally original to the buckle and dated '1936', also with a very deep Marine acceptance stamp. It is very difficult to find a belt and buckle set that have always been together and when found rarely has they been Kriegsmarine double stamped. The clip to the belt in aluminium marked 'OLC'
