BRITISH WWII BRITISH LEGION PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM.

An extremely rare historically important British Legion photograph album formerly belonging to a leader of a visit by the Swansea Branch of the British Legion to the 1936 Berlin Reichskriegertages, basically a gathering of veterans of WWI. 25 original photographs, most annotated, showing parades with German veterans in uniform in Berlin. The flags of the British Legion being carried along with high ranking SA and NSDAP party leaders. Group meeting with the Duke and Duchess of Brunswick and autographed by them. Also 19 period postcards of the places the group visited including the Berlin Olympic Stadium, Potsdam etc., Of special interest is the original group badge worn by the leader of the British Delegation, which is pinned to the albums cover, along with the German Reichskriegertag 1936 Rally badge, the German Kyffhauserbund membership badge and the German Marinebund membership badge.
