GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS OTTO SKORZENY'S MEMBERS WEHRSTAMMBUCH.

A rare Wehrstammbuch to a member of Otto Skorzeny's SS Jager Battalion 502. Photographed to the interior in his former army uniform, he was also a former member of the French Foreign Legion. He was transferred from the army to SS Battalion 502 on the 13th September 1944. On the 15th-16th October 44 this unit took part in Otto Skorzeny's seizure of the Royal Palace on Castle Hill in Budapest and kidnapped Admiral Horthy's son, therefore forching the Admiral the Hungarian ruler to continue his alliance with Germany. An extremely rare set of documents to a member of a very small unit of approximately 300 men.
