IMPERIAL GERMAN JAGER ZU PFERDE PRE WAR STYLE TROOPERS HELMET.

A very nice condition large size lobster tail helmet for either of Jager Zu Pferde Regiments 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, these regiments all had white metal fittings with brass heavyweight chin scales, all of the other regiments had brass fittings. The skull is excellent with all deep blueing visible, standard Jager Zu Pferde front plate. The helmet is complete with both of its larger style cockades, both Prussian and national, complete with its inner leather lining and its original drawstring. Stamped size 57 on the rear lobster tail. Marked to the inner crown ?C.E.Juncker and a clear date of 1915.
