GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE SPANISH CROSS AND U-BOAT CLASP PAPER GROUPING.

A highly unusual grouping awarded to Funkmatten Arnold Bauer for the Spanish Cross in bronze with swords, dated 6th June 1939 with an Adolf Hitler facsimile signature. Slightly creased edges and one tear to the right hand side. The large A4 size semi card citation for the U-Boat badge, dated 5th September 1944 with facsimile signature of Admiral Doenitz. The A5 size citation, non folded, non punch holed for the Iron Cross 1st class, dated 9th January 1943 with another facsimile Doenitz signature. A5 size citation for the U-Boat Clasp in bronze, dated 3rd February 1945 with a facsimile signature of Admiral Von Friedeburg who was the Commanding Officer of U-Boats. A highly unusual combination of a recipient of the Spanish Cross having later served on U-Boats.
