GERMAN WWI GEW98 AMMUNITION POUCHES AND BELT SET.

A nice original untouched set of a brown combat waist belt fitted with its all brass Prussian enlisted mans belt buckle. The tip of the adjuster tab to the interior of the belt has broken away through dryness, slight indentation to the belt buckle, fitted to a very nice set of brown pebbled GEW98 pouches, which although are different makers and different dates are virtually identical in their construction. The colour is a superb match with all white stitching, one dated 1913 the other dated 1915. To the centre interior lid of one of the pouches it is regimentally marked ?G.J.B. (Guard Jager Battalion).
