GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE ADMINISTRATION HIGH GRADE SHOULDER BOARD.

A shoulder board of an Oberst Leutnant of the Luftwaffe Administration Service. Green base colour with red underlay between the slightly oxidised silver twisted cord and the green, one gilt rank pip indicating Oberst Leutnant. Removed from tunic, stitch marks remain, as a prisoner of war the insignia was removed by Private Tallentaire of the Royal Scots.
