A pair of citations to Unteroffizier Johannes Schonfeld of 10./Gren.Rgt.MOT (Feldherrenhalle) the Iron Cross awarded the 9th March 1944, Major Commanding Regiment issue rubber stamp, punch-holed for filing. Infantry Assault badge in bronze dated 5th June 1944, some slight shredding to the edges, pen signature of the Major and Unit Commander. The Feldherrenhalle Division was an elite German Army division originally formed of SA members. In 1944 it was engaged in fighting around Narva, Vitebsk and Orscha.
