A well service used Prussian soldiers feldmutze, thinness to the nap of the cloth, some moth tracking with two moth holes, oil stain close to the national and State cockades, both of large size, totally original to the headpiece, red piped crown with slightly stained red lower band. The interior lining is complete, evidence of heavy duty wear use, stamped size 58 with the faint traces of an army corps marking still visible to the lining material.
