GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPER MEDIC GROUP.
A group of 7 documents to a Luftwaffe NCO Otto Heger. A 16 page citation style booklet for the DRL (sports badge) association award badge dated '1938' while as a member of Flak Regiment 10, complete with photograph wearing pre war open style Luftwaffe tunic, complete with the original DRL badge. A Luftwaffe A4 size citation for the 4 Year Long Service Medal dated 'October 1939'. Promotion document to the rank of Feldwebel dated 'May 1940', A4 size. Citation for the 1st Oktober 1938 Medal dated 'September 1939'. Citation for the War Service Cross 2nd Class with swords dated '1942'. Citation for the Iron Cross 2nd Class dated '1944', by that time Heger had become a member of the late war formED Parachute Army, the citation reads 'AS A MEMBER OF 12/FALLSCHIRM-JAGER REGT.5'. Small size citation dated '1942' signed from the Saxon Interior Minister to Heger. Accompanying the citations are Heger's original three part medal ribbon bar comprising War Service Cross 2nd Class with swords, Luftwaffe 4 Year Long Service Medal, 1st Oktober 1938 medal all with their original court mounted ribbons. The blue of the Long Service ribbon has faded but is complete with its original Luftwaffe motif. Also accompanying the group is Heger's rare identity disc which has been separately impressed Red Cross. Because of the late award of the Iron Cross 2nd Class it was never utilised on its Medal Ribbon Bar.
