Published in 1922 this huge work comprising 363 pages, copy number 402 of 3000 copies only printed, this very rare work was published to show the world the contribution that Jews had made towards the British War Effort in terms of personnel to counter suggestions that the Jewish community in Great Britain had not contributed at all to the War Effort. It lists the many thousands of men and women who served and includes the five Victoria Crosses, 49 Distinguished Service Orders, 263 Military Crosses, 329 Military Medals plus many other awards won by this group of people. Large photographic section at the rear of the book. Some age foxing to some pages, spine good, gilt good to title page with a 1997 inscription to the blank first page.
