BRITISH PAIR OF MACHINE GUN CORPS OFFICERS PHOTOGRAPHS.

Two very well framed items, both having typical turn of the century style frames. The first one is originally framed at the time and has an excellent framers pasted address to the reverse of the frame and the image is of Hugh Clay Carter Machine Gun Corps, and dated '1919', he can clearly be seen wearing the Military Cross and Machine Gun Corps collars to his whipcord tunic and he appears to have two pips or a crown and pip upon each epaulette. The other photo is a typical officer grouping showing the Colonel to the centre in cuff rank tunic and flanked by two Machine Gun Corps officers being a Lieutenant and a Captain, these appear to be Canadian Machine Gun Corps troops and have divisional signs for each arm, which are forward pointing arrows with a bar underneath. This should be relatively easy to research.
