A superbly coloured print from the famous painting known as The Brothers in Arms. The image depicts Austrian and German soldiers advancing together on the field of battle, measuring 37 inches x 23 inches. It depicts the Kaiser, mounted alongside Franz Josef with a mixed retinue of Generals and enlisted men all wearing different coloured uniforms and different forms of headdress. The frame is in carved wood surmounted by the Austrian eagle with a brass plate at the base, which reads 'Ludwig Koch Die Grosse Zeit' (The Great Time), it is signed 'Ludwig Koch 1915' in the lower right hand corner of the print. Very minor cracks to the plaster work of the foliage on the wood frame, the frame is otherwise in generally good condition.accompanying the print is a separate printed view of the print with all of the main characters number coded and identified
