POLISH AIRBORNE COMEDY CARICATURE PICTURES.

An interesting portfolio of four high quality well printed caricature pictures pertaining to Polish Airborne troops. The item was clearly produced in Germany in 1946 while the Polish Airborne troops were stationed there. The large format folder is clearly dated '46' and annotated to Celle and Hamburg to the front and there are four excellent printed caricature mounted on wonderful grey backgrounds, each one impressed with a comedy sentence in Polish. They consists of various figures including a Polish Armoured Corps soldier and three others of clearly Airborne background with poster grey berets, combat wings, etc., Each of the posters have a facsimile signature of 1945. We have never seen this set anywhere for sale before and this must have been one of the items produced in Germany for sale to units. The overall condition is excellent with a little foxing to the outer cover. These would merit high quality framing and would compliment an Airborne collection enormously.
