A very nice condition large size General officers visor cap. All blue bodied with maroon piping around the crown, red centre band, full bullion wire double row of raised bullion lace to the front peak with a very nice hand embroidered General Officers badge with King’s crown. Standard early period chinstrap, General’s side buttons. Maker marked to the interior ‘F.P.Baker & Co Limited, Golden Square, London Naval Military Outfitters’. Sweatband all intact, with its original tissue paper backing inside the upper crown.
