A scarce piece of headdress for the Luftwaffe being the officers M.43 cap, private purchase, constructed in officers cloth, silver piping around the crown, which has shredded in places. Officers bullion wire woven cap eagle with an enlisted ranks red, white and black cockade, twin front pebbled buttons. The cap is a good shape. Brown rayon lining with a brown small section of sweatband lining around the forehead area. Staining to the interior from wear use. Slight crack in the front peak. No moth damage.
