BRITISH WWII BRIGADIER’S 4TH INDIAN DIVISION SLOUCH HAT.
A rare piece of headdress from WWII being an undated slouch hat, generally in nice condition, minor moth tracking to the felt, approximately 2 or 3 tiny moth hole damage, with its original chinstrap. The remains of the paper size label still attached to the sweatband. To one side the black and red Artillery lozenge shape insignia halved in red and black, to the opposite side a single shoulder sleeve insignia of the 4th Indian Division and to the front the worn Brigadier’s bullion and velvet badge. Complete with its pagri. The 4th Indian Division fought throughout World War Two on many fronts which included East Africa, North Africa, Syria and Italy.
