GERMAN WWII SA DAGGER.

A very nice example of an early model 33 SS mans dagger. The blade is superb by the maker Wilhelm Kober of Suhl with all of its cross grain finish remaining. Very minor cloudiness to the reverse side of the dagger, the only other markings being the inner scabbard brass blade retaining bands. All of the dark etching remaining to the Ulles Fur Deutschland logo. The scabbard is of the anodised variety with virtually all of its anodising remaining. One small indentation to the scabbard half way up. Some minor abrasions and slight rubbing to the edges otherwise a good example with some of the original lacquer left. The fittings, which include the upper and lower cross guard mounts and the scabbard mounts have never been cleaned. The lower cross guard is marked ‘TH’ for Gruppe Thuringen. Wood grip enamel SA inset excellent with high quality national eagle, the wood grip having one small abrasion to the upper reverse side, the ball to the lower scabbard base undamaged, otherwise an excellent example of a model 33 mans dagger.
