GERMAN WWII ARMY ARTILLERY OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

A nice saddle shaped large size, possibly size 59 or 60 artillery officers visor cap. No moth or damage to the cap, two very tiny moth nips on the rear overhang. Smooth officer quality material, dark green centre band, red piping to either side of the centre band and the crown with its matching set of aluminium national eagle and cockade. Standard wire cap cords with silver side buttons. Fibre peak. The interior lining in leather has evidence of wear use, one split to the leather in the forehead area. The inner lining all in gold with staining of wear. Complete with its undamaged centre celluloid lozenge, which has embossed eagle motifs with the word ‘Qualitats-mutze’. The orange foam cushion behind the forehead area of the sweatband is in place with some of it solidified and broken away.
