GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE REICHLUFT MINISTRY NCO/MANS ENLISTED MANS CAP.

A huge size, possibly size 60 nco or mans cap for a member of the Reichluft Ministry Korps constructed in officers quality material. No moth damage or staining to any part of the cap, standard black mohair band with black waffenfarbe to the upper and lower sections of the mohair with black waffenfarbe around the crown. A nice matched set of stamped aluminium national eagle and cockade. Standard form of double buckled chinstrap with the most commonly encountered double ribbed edge to the front peak. To the interior the sweatband is without any signs of wear use but slight cracking and flaking to the material, which adheres to its canvas base, the band being of the ersatz variety. The remainder of the cap is lined in grey and green silk or rayon with its very attractive full centre celluloid lozenge with the gold blocked shield and coat of arms with the name ‘Tradition’ which we presume to be the maker’s coat of arms shield.
