GERMAN WWII NSDAP KREISLEITUNG OFFICIALS VISOR CAP.

The NSDAP political party had four levels of governance, blue piping for Ortsgruppe, white piping for Kreisleiter, red piping for Gauleiter, yellow piping for Reischleiter (central government). This is the second level white piped cap constructed in the canvas-like material, political brown, known by the populous as the Golden Pheasants, with its correct gilded eagle, gilded wreath with the central cockade being multi constructed in red and black enamels with silver central cockade. Gold cap cords with matching gold side buttons. Brown velvet centre band. To the interior the cap still has its original canvas RZM label. Central celluloid lozenge is still intact with one small section missing. The sweatband all intact. Some extra strengthening stitches to apply the sweatband to the main body of the cap has been added. Good original shape. No moth damage or staining, age toning to the interior light coloured lining.
