A most superb example, which is in our opinion one of the best manufacturers of the paratrooper badge JMME & Sohn Berlin. The heavy nickel oak and laurel leaf wreath with the most deepest of depth and detail. Good gilt to the paratrooper style diving eagle. Marked ‘JMME & Sohn, Berlin’ on the reverse side. Complete with its original hook, pin and hinge, in its original blue velvet case with its upper inner silk lined lid, gold blocked titled ‘Fallschirmschutzen Abzeichen’ to the exterior. One slight nick to the forward left hand side tip of the case, some scuffing to the base otherwise excellent. One of the best we have had for a long time.
