BRITISH WWII BATTLEDRESS TROUSERS WITH LABEL.

An excellent large size set of 1940 pattern battledress trousers, still with their original label, which states ‘size number 10 waist 31 to 32, breech 37 to 38’. Broad arrow marked with the maker’s name of ‘RSD’. It is very unusual to find any British battledress trousers with their original label, these were removed by the soldiers as a fashion statement, the battledress jacket being short and not wishing a label to be seen. Lovely condition, all nap of cloth present, two small moth repairs in the crotch area.
