GERMAN WWII 25 TANK ASSAULT BADGE IN SILVER.

A superb virtually untouched example, ex property of the Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum, 25 Tank Assault Badge. This is the unmarked version but generally considered by all of the dedicated books on this subject made by JFS. All of the classic features of the JFS type hook, pin and hinge. Two delicate domed rivets. Finish overall to the silver wreath excellent with all of the dark grey patinated finish to the tank complete. This medal and others sold at the same time, this award was part of a group of medals and awards disposed of by the British Regiment of the Royal Highland Fusiliers in April 1984 and was one of a number of awards donated to the museums of the Royal Scots Fusiliers and the Highland Light Infantry at the end of WWI or very shortly after.
