GERMAN WWII 50 GENERAL ASSAULT BADGE.

A fabulous example of the 50 General Assault badge by the maker RK being Rudolf Karneth. Virtually all the finish remaining to the award on both sides. Complete with its four delicate domed rivets that holds the down-swept winged eagle and swastika and crossed sword and grenade grouping to the wreath. Standard steel wide tapering pin. A superb example with original pin, hook and hinge. This particular item was purchased directly from the museum of the Royal Highland Fusiliers in April 1984 and was one of a number of awards donated to the museum of the Royal Scots Fusiliers and Highland Light Infantry Museum at the end of WWII or shortly after.
