A good service worn very large size possibly 58 infantry officers visor cap. Nice saddle shape, officer quality material, minor moth tracking to the crown with a few minor moth nips, which hopefully our web images have picked up. Standard white waffenfarbe, dark green centre band. A matched set of slightly oxidised bullion wire national eagle and cockade set, silver wire cap cords and standard pebbled side buttons. To the interior evidence of wear to the mid tan leather sweatband, which is in one place with a small section missing. The remainder of the inner gold rayon lining in nice condition with some light staining and having its complete Pekuros lozenge logo plus further lettering of a Kassel retailer, which unfortunately can only be seen when the hat is held in the light. The remainder of the lettering the silver blocking is still visible.
