A mint unissued condition Close Combat Bar in bronze with its full compliment of the designer’s name ‘Peekhaus of Berlin’ with the maker ‘Ausf.A.G.M.u.K.Gablonz’, this is a generic maker’s mark for an association of badge makers, with its original tapered fluted pin, its blued steel back plate. It would be difficult to improve on this example.
