GERMAN WWI SAXON GRENADIER REGIMENT 101 MODEL 1910 OFFICERS TUNIC.

A rare model 1910 officers tunic to a Leutnant in Saxon Grenadier Regiment 101. Tailor made in field grey, fitted with its correct set of silver and green Saxon Grenadier Regiment 101 epaulettes with gilded regimental motifs, large red collar lace with subdued grey litzen, red piping to the collar, red piping to both front skirts of tunic and matching decoration to the Swedish style cuffs in wartime field grey. All buttons are original to the tunic without any replacements. To the reverse side of the tunic the skirt is the standard Saxon skirt, a 2cm tear in the back panel sewn repaired. Some minor tears repairs just above the Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon and wear holes to the collar. Standard M.10 configuration with two lower angled pockets. A light sprinkling of moth close to the lower button otherwise excellent condition overall. The tunic is fitted with a WWI Iron Cross ribbon and a fretted out Wound Badge in black.
