GERMAN WWII POLITICAL ABSCHNITTSLEITER’S UNIFORM.

A very nice condition brown uniform comprising tunic and breeches of an Abschnittsleiter at Kreis level uniform in magnificent condition, no moth damage. The wearers of the uniforms were known as the golden pheasants by the populous. White piped collar, white piped brown velvet centred collar patches with metallic eagle and swastika and metallic single leaf with two acorns. The large armband being for a Leiter Einer Hauptstelle (Leader of a main post) in the most beautiful condition. Three loop very widely spaced apart for a long medal ribbon bar to the upper left breast. Two loops for one award to the upper breast pocket indicating that the wearer was a WWI veteran of distinction. Four pocket configuration, deep turned back cuffs. Some light staining to the reverse side of the left hand sleeve. All of the buttons are in the gold style with the political eagle and swastika to the centre. Standard skirted reverse side with two political buttons as decoration. Complete with matching breeches.
