GERMAN WWI ERNST BUSCH STEEL HANDLED FIGHTING KNIFE.
A very difficult to find fighting knife of WWI being the all steel handled example by Ernst Busch of Solingen. The overall length of the dagger is 28.5cm, the blade is excellent, which has been Imperial German Military acceptance stamped, marked ‘Ernst Busch, Solingen’ with its original washer. The all steel grip, which has ridges simulating the much more commonly encountered wooden grip, it has lost its black painted finish to the grip, in its original scabbard, which retains at least 60% of its original black paint, its belt loop and hilt closing strap with its male/female closure studs all complete, in place and working correctly.
