GERMAN WWI M.16 TRENCH HELMET.

A nice clean ‘SI66’(Eisen Hutte Silesia production) M.16 trench helmet. To the exterior it retains at least 60% of its original apple green finish. To the interior the helmet retains its complete and undamaged original chinstrap, which is frail. Of the three leather pads all are intact and fit securely to the band. The tips of two tongues are broken away, of the other two pads both are with their tongues but with the eyelets for the drawstring split. The helmet has a nice untouched barn or loft dusty feel to it. A great example of an M.16 trench helmet.
