IMPERIAL GERMAN 20TH SAXON HUSSARS NCO’S FIELD GREY TUNIC.

A lovely officer quality field grey tunic to a senior NCO in the Saxon 20th Hussars. Good colour, all field grey frogging with its correct Hussars style closure buttons. None of the lace is oxidised. Light moth to the lower front skirt area. The remainder of the tunic apart from one moth nip on the back panel absolutely clear with its correct slip-on but also sewn blue and white intertwined lace shoulder boards with regimental gilt number ‘20’ to each board. NCO Saxon discs to the collar. Very nice Leipzig tailor’s label to the interior with the owner’s name and dated ‘1913’ regimentally marked to the label ’20 Hussar Regiment’. A lovely virtually untouched item from WWI.
