GERMAN WWII PARATROOPER/LUFTWAFFE AIR CREW GRAVITY KNIFE LANYARD.

A full length example of the gravity knife strung lanyard with its sprung loaded clips to each end, normally found in one of the lower pockets attached to a D ring in the flying suit with the gravity knife attached to one end. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
