A scarce enlisted ranks Ausweis for a member of the Allgemeine SS. 9 x 12cm single double sided printed card with the card itself impregnated with intertwined swastikas also eagle and swastikas, headed ‘Schutzstaffeln Der NSDAP. Ausweis number 123491, the holder Oswald Soboleski. SS number 1589897. Head and bust image of Soboleski, hatless wearing his SS brown shirt, black and white twisted collar edging, black tie with ‘SS Abschnitt’ over-stamp. To the reverse side the date of 20th December 1933, facsimile signature of Heinrich Himmler with the over-stamp of the 54th SS Standarte with original purple pencil colour signature of the 54th Standardarte, SS Standartenfuhrer.
