GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE GROUND ASSAULT BADGE.

Good condition all zinc non maker marked Luftwaffe Ground Assault badge. Good finish to the high quality Luftwaffe eagle on a zinc base with original pin, hook and hinge. The pin is bent as expected through service use. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
