BRITISH WWII 1940 PATTERN BATTLEDRESS JACKET AND TROUSERS.

A very nice exact matching colour set of a 1940 battledress blouse, completely devoid of any insignia apart from a purple lanyard, insignia may have been fitted at some time but no evidence in place of fitted insignia. Complete with its size 13 label, the battledress blouse is pattern 1940, Montague Burton Limited, Leeds 1942’ issue stamp with broad arrow mark. The trousers are standard battledress trousers. One small sewn nick to the cloth to the lower right hand sleeve but no moth damage anywhere on either pieces of garment in the set. A fabulous set.
