GERMAN WWI CAMEROON OFFICERS SERVICE CAP.

A scarce cap from the German colony of Cameroon constructed in the heavy sand coloured corduroy material. Red piping to the crown, red centre band, officers or NCOs cockade to the centre. Brown fibre visor. Some slight loss from moth damage to the corduroy material, no actual moth holes on the crown. Complete with its original light tan leather sweatband. Lightweight cotton lining material stamped ‘B.A.A. 1915’. Some stitches securing the peak to the body are loose, one tear to the sweatband.
