In the last two years a quantity of mint unissued field grey mixed Wurttemberg and Prussian feldmutzes were discovered in Germany, all in good condition, this example having one minor moth nip to the crown, the remainder of the cap is absolutely free of any moth damage. Excellent nap. Red centre band, red piping to the crown with its Prussian and Wurttemberg field cockades. The interior canvas lining in very light cream. A good size 57 and clearly stamped ‘B.A.XIII’ Army Corps 13, dated ‘1914’.
