GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE GROUND ASSAULT BADGE.

A very clean Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge, non maker marked. The Luftwaffe eagle attached to the main body of the award by one single delicate rivet on the reverse side. Good silvering remaining to the lower field of the eagle. All of the Luftwaffe blue grey colour to the clouds remaining. Slight toning to the silvering of the wreath. Good solid construction. Thick needle pin, original hook and hinge.
