GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN 1 YEAR VOLUNTEER PICKELHAUBE.

An extremely nice condition all leather pickelhaube of the enlisted mans style but worn by a 1 year volunteer. The skull very good, both front and back peaks firmly attached to the main body, the front peak trim being of the officers shape. All of the brass fittings, which include the back strap, unscrewable spike, circular spike base with pearl ring around the base of the stem. Domed fittings for the circular spike base. Nice quality Prussian front plate. All leather strap with matching brass fittings and the helmet with both of its nice quality national and State cockades. To the interior the leather sweatband is of the officers scalloped type with its original light cream silk inner liner all intact. A very nice pickelhaube.
