GERMAN WWI BADEN FELT PICKELHAUBE.

An excellent condition all felt bodied pickelhaube to an enlisted man in a Baden regiment. Excellent skull, one minor ordnance repair stitch to the area of the helmet where the skull meets the rear peak. This is one of the one-piece felt pressed helmets without separately applied front and back peaks. All matching patinated field grey fittings. Back strap never fitted. The spike is removable. Fitted with the unusual canvas chinstrap instead of leather, with both its well aged national and Baden State cockades. The interior 9 tongued liner in excellent condition, age wear showing but no breakages or losses.
