GERMAN WWII ARMED FORCES GENERAL ASSAULT BADGE IN BRONZE.

A very good maker marked example of the General Assault Badge in bronze. Slight rubbing to the bronze finish on the head and hilt of the grenade, also in the same areas of the bayonet. Slight rubbing to the high spots on the wings of the Third Reich eagle. On the reverse side is the manufacturer’s stamp ‘A’ for the Company Assmann & Son in raised relief with a raised number ‘4’ below. Complete with its original pin, hook and hinge. A good example.
