An ultra rare group of four documents comprising the A5 size citation for the Infantry Assault badge in bronze awarded to HJ Kameradschaftsfuhrer Werner Redenbacher, who was a member of Melde-Zug/VS.Kampfbatl.21/41, issued in Breslau 20th April 1945. Pen signed by an Battalion Commander. Redenacher was serving in a messenger unit, the 41st was originally formed in Vienna. Stamped to the citation is the issue stamp of the 41st Battalion. The citation has been folded twice, together with his Hitler Youth identity document, a small sheet of paper bearing his name, date of issue 1st April 1945. The paper authorises him to pass through certain parts of Breslau as a messenger. Dated Festung Breslau 1st April 45. His DJ award marksman badge citation on brown card with badge number awarded 12th March 1942. A large studio portrait of him in HJ uniform, good condition. Breslau was bitterly defended from the 13th February to 6th May 1945, at this stage of the war HJ units were transferred from different parts of Germany to fight on the Eastern Front.
